James Rye BA, MA, M.Phil, PGCE, MBACP (Accred), UKRCP Reg. Ind. Counsellor/Psychotherapist, has undertaken training in Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy (REBT) and Transactional Analysis (TA). He has an MA in Humanistic Counselling from Nottingham University. He is an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy and adheres to its code of Ethics and Professional Practice. He is also registered Independent Counsellor/Psychotherapist (UKRCP). James has recently completed training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) at the University of East Anglia.

Nina Rye BSc, MA, PGCE has an MA in Non-directive Play Therapy from the University of York and is a registered Play Therapist with BAPT . As well as working with private clients, Nina also receives referrals from Adoption Agencies, Social Services, Schools, and Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. Part of her work involving Filial Therapy is featured in the BBC Documentary series 'Child of Our Time'. She also offers supervision to play therapists and to counsellors working with children.

As is the practice of all reputable counsellors and therapists, James and Nina receive regular confidential supervision from senior practitioners for their counselling, play therapy, and filial therapy work.
